The Liposuction Procedure

Dr. Herte typically uses general anesthesia, administered by a board-certified physician anesthesiologist, because your comfort and safety are most important. To minimize bruising and break up the fat for less traumatic removal, Dr. Herte uses an injectable solution and external ultrasound. This allows much smaller tools to be used for more precise sculpting of your figure. This, in turn, allows Dr. Herte to use much smaller incisions. Maximal skin tightening is encouraged by the use of external ultrasound and furthered by your post operative support garment. Dr. Herte believes that wearing your snug support garment and having proper follow up of your healing process are essential for your best re-contouring result.
